I finished these assignments roughly 3 weeks ago. They were a bit painful and required several walks in the cold mulling over where I was going wrong with the linear algebra. I am glad I did it though. When I implemented back prop in school I just followed pseudo code and only implemented SGD on fully connected sigmoids.
